Calvary Cemetery is proud to have an original painting by Paul Melia displayed in our office lobby. Titled “From Every Day to Life Everlasting” the 42” x 52” watercolor is a shining tribute to the images and faith that defines Calvary Cemetery.
Paul Melia is a local artist with nationally and locally known works. One of his most famous paintings is of The Vatican and the original is displayed in Rome. Commercial works include paintings for Proctor & Gamble, General Electric and Wright State University. Paul is also known for portraits of local families.
Calvary Cemetery has limited edition, 16” x 20”, signed and numbered prints available to the public on five special purchase dates for the year of 2010. This special print is a nice remembrance for people who have loved ones interred at Calvary Cemetery.
Limited edition prints are available for the purchase price of $100.00. We also have available un-numbered prints for $35.00. All proceeds from each purchase will be placed in our Memorial Restoration Fund. This fund provides for repairs and cleaning of older monuments.
Orders may be placed in advance of, or purchased directly in the office on the following dates only in 2010: April 23, May 19, June 24, September 16, or December 15. |
